International scholarships for master’s programs in Russia 2020/21
scholarships for master’s programs in Russia : International students can apply for free to study at HSE through full scholarships. This merit-based scholarship will completely waive all tuition fees for the master’s programs selected at HSE.
Applicants must apply to the programs in which they wish to participate from November 1, 2019. The deadline for submission of all supporting documents is August 14, 2020. Please note that applicants must upload their portfolios to the personal online account before August 14, 2020. If the application is considered pending by the application committee, the applicant will be recommended for a scholarship. Winners of various student competitions can also receive full scholarships.
Please note that the scholarships only cover tuition fees and that all other fees (including accommodation in HSE dormitories) must be covered by the student. Here you will find information on the estimated cost of living.
HSE also offers a wide range of tuition fee scholarships to international applicants who are not eligible for Russian government scholarships.
Scholarships for Masters Programs
HSE offers the following types of scholarships to non-Russian nationals applying for Master programs (this scholarship is calculated based on the program’s tuition fees for each academic year):

Scholarships do not apply to master’s programs that do not have budget places.
The amount of the scholarship offered to international students is fixed and granted to foreigners for the duration of their studies. However, each year it will be necessary to confirm it with good academic results.
This means that a recipient must meet the following requirements:
- Not be subject to disciplinary action in the form of a reprimand;
- At the end of each intermediate evaluation (before the resumption), he / she must not have more than two marks lower than 6 (on a scale of 10 points);
- o not miss any evaluation without valid reason.
Please note that a foreigner can only receive one scholarship at a time. If a foreign national is eligible for more than one scholarship from the table, he / she can select only one scholarship at his discretion.
